Why the Advanced Open Water Diver Course?
The Advanced Open Water Diver course allows students to explore additional diving related interests. After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

What do I need to start?
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

What will I do?
This certification includes five Adventure Dives. The Deep Adventure dive and the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive are required You may choose three of the following:

AWARE Fish Identification
Boat Diver
Deep Diver
Enriched Air Diver
Equipment Repair
Multilevel Diver
Night Diver
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Search and Recovery
Underwater Naturalist
Underwater Photographer
Underwater Digital Photographer
Underwater Navigator


How long will it take?
Adventures in Diving takes one weekend to complete. The five selected dives are performed over those two days and complete briefings and debriefings take place. Successful completion of the Advanced Open Water Diver Course allows the divers to participate in dives up to 100 ft deep and enrich your diving experiences. The Advanced Open Water course is offered on most  weekends we have Check Out dives scheduled.

What will I need?
Student will need to purchase course material including the Adventures in Diving Crew-Pak and prepare at home by reading the applicable chapters and completing the "Knowledge Reviews" at the end of the chapters prior to the in water portion of the program.
